Five great Italian chefs talk about the choices they have made in their careers and their creativity, unhindered by prejudices or conventions. Their names are Caterina, Martina, Valeria, Antonia, and Cristina. That freedom they share goes for their recipes, too, in a testament to equality and accessibility all too often denied in the workplace. La quinta stagione is an exploration of local cuisines based on an idea of Paola Valeria Jovinelli’s. Directed by Giuseppe Carrieri, narrated by Isabella Ragonese, the series is produced by Fondazione Arte del Convivio with IULMovie LAB.

LA QUINTA STAGIONE

Five of the leading chefs in Italian cuisine come together for a friendly discussion about their careers, the meaning of time, and the future, free from prejudice or conventional views. One by one, they take the stage and transport us up and down Italy, in search of the varieties of its cuisine and their stories. All under the aegis of a noble sentiment that binds them: great love for human life, once and future. The fifth season that unites us all.
