ITALY’S NEW LAW ON CINEMA

Spotlight on Italy’s new law on cinema, at a panel organized by a coalition of filmmakers’ associations that includes100autori, ANAC, WGI, AIDAC, ACMF, and AIR3. In an extraordinary case of agreement between the majority and the opposition, the Chamber of Deputies’ Culture Committee has unanimously approved a unified bill for a new law on cinema. The coalition has zeroed in on certain critical issues with the law, to be explored at this public event open to representatives of the government and political parties, the administration, and the workers’ union.
