LEO ORTOLANI

Out of the collaboration between Giornate degli Autori and Venezia Cult – a project created and curated by Aka Lab and co-developed with COMICON – come two special talks with: Italian cartoonist Leo Ortolani (Wed. the 9th), creator of Rat-Man, and British cartoonist and illustrator Dave McKean (Thurs. the 10th), known mainly for his graphic novel about Batman, Arkham Asylum, and his iconic covers for Sandman by Neil Gaiman. Ortolani and McKean will talk about their careers and their art. Moreover, an exhibition of McKean’s work, Pictures That Dream, produced by COMICON, will be held at La Villa (Lungomare Guglielmo Marconi, 56), once more this year the hub for B2B activities on the Lido, in partnership with Unifrance.
