ARE WE REALLY USING AI?
In the audiovisual universe, who is really using artificial intelligence, and in what ways and to what ends? After three years of study and analysis, the permanent observatory of WGI (Writers Guild Italia) is back in Venice with a panel examining the daily use of AI in the creative process. In collaboration with ANAC, 100autori, and AIDAC, WGI has commissioned an SWG survey on the actual use of AI by Italian screenwriters and directors, and the as yet unpublished results will be debated by experts, filmmakers, and academics, in a look at the current practices in the industry. Music also takes its rightful place in the debate, thanks to the data collected by ACMF and presented by Pivio, president of the association of film composers. The voices of filmmakers and composers round out an overview and discussion of the new digital challenge, in a day-long event on Monday, September 1st, at the conference arranged at the Italian Pavilion by Cinecittà.
