A round table discussion devoted to the role of independent film and its future prospects in the light of Italy's new film and audiovisual industry law, the bill for which has been drawn up and is soon to be debated in the Senate.
Speakers will look at both automatic and selective support schemes for distributors, exhibitors, film clubs and foundations; funding mechanisms to promote the film and audiovisual industry; and tax credits and mechanisms guaranteeing the free circulation of film and audiovisual works.
