One of the most renowned choreographers in the world, Angelin Preljocaj, and his director wife, Valérie Müller, have made , an absorbing debut film that depicts a young Russian ballerina's journey from the Bolshoi to the world of contemporary dance, laying bare her sacrifices and artistic development. Based on the graphic novel by Bastien Vivès, it is in competition in the 2016 Venice Days.
