Venice Days rolls out the Red Carpet for Julie Delpy And Dany Boon

Venice Days rounds out its program with the eleventh title on its competitive lineup: thanks to an agreement with the international distributor Wild Bunch, it's now official that the sidebar will be hosting the eagerly-awaited world premiere of Lolo, the new film written and directed by and starring Julie Delpy, the "most American of France's female filmmakers". Produced by Michael Gentile and featuring a splendid trio of stars alongside Julie Delpy the creator of Welcome to the Sticks, Dany Boon, hot young actor Vincent Lacoste (Astérix and Obélix: God Save Britannia), and actress Karin Viard (The Bélier Family) Lolo is a biting, bittersweet comedy about the fragility of love and the lavish demands of spoiled children.

After Two Days in Paris, Two Days in New York, and Skylab, this time the actress and director dons the guise of the quintessential Parisienne Violette, with all her tics and neuroses, who meets her soulmate, Jean-René, while on vacation in the south of France. Once back home, though, the pair have to deal with Lolo, Violette's brainy, tyrannical son, who has no intention of relinquishing his own control over the family, and the emotions of his darling mother.
