Giornate degli Autori, the Lux Film Prize and Europa Cinemas are proud to unveil the list of 28 European film lovers selected from over 200 applications - representing 75 cinemas and cultural institutions across Europe - to be part of the 9th edition of 28 Times Cinema.
The project, born in 2010 from a partnership between the European Parliament's Lux Film Prize, Europa Cinemas and Giornate degli Autori (The Days), with the support of Cineuropa, encourages the development of a community of young Europeans bonding over a shared passion for cinema. Gathering in Venice, they'll get to know each other, experience the buzzing atmosphere of a leading international film festival and serve as members of the Jury awarding the GdA Director's Award (€20.000). After the event, they will become ambassadors for the Lux Film Prize, helping to promote the three films from its Official Competition in their local territories.
We asked them about life, cinema and their own personal journey, and we'll share their answers on our Facebook, Youtube and Instagram channels in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
